Eric Friedlander

Eric joined Sinvin in 2022 and specializes in tenant representation. He typically helps brands expand into the NYC retail environment for the first time. Living in the neighborhood that he focuses on provides him unparalleled insight and knowledge of what is going on in and around Soho.

Before joining the Sinvin team, Eric worked in the world of property technology. While working with companies focused on being the connective tissue between the built environment and technology, Eric helped support business development efforts for several firms.

To date, one of Eric’s most successful marketing efforts was for the Liberty Commons development in Middletown, NY. He worked closely with the development team to ensure a smooth and fast sell-out process. The project was stalled after changes in the construction team, and he was able to come in and lead the sales process.  

Eric’s passion for retail goes beyond just brokerage. After undergrad, Eric created a direct-to-consumer cocktail packet company. He also invests in companies that focus on growing sectors and alternative assets like real estate. From enjoying the restaurants, stores, and amenities of Soho, you will always be able to catch him around the area.   

Eric has a B.A. in History from Union College and an M.S. in Real Estate Development from NYU.
