Vintage Watch Shop Opens Second Outpost

By REW | April 10, 2018

JWatch, an online vintage watch store and repair shop, penned a deal for their second brick-and-mortar location at 88 Seventh Avenue.

The 720-square-foot spot is expected to open up in June to complement their first Manhattan location at 39 West 14th Street. The coming Chelsea location is expected to see foot traffic from the affluent residents and businesses. The store features a range of vintage timepieces including higher-end Rolexes to mid-level Hamiltons. The 10-year lease was organized by Steve Rappaport from Sinvin Real Estate with an asking rent of $9,500 a month.

JWatch’s expansion is part of the wave of online retailers looking into brick-and-mortar stores. Commonly referred to as click-to-brick or click-and-mortar, these online businesses look to have physical location that act as showrooms and promote publicity.
