April 1, 2005

Roxanne Betesh of Sinvin Realty Brokered the Deal. Daniel Libeskind’s technology wizard, Control Group, LLC, has leased 2,342 square feet of Tribeca office space on the third floor of six-story 60 White Street, between Broadway and Church Street.  Roxanne Betesh, vice president of Sinvin Realty Corp. represented both the tenant and the landlord, Blumberg Excelsior, in the deal.

Control Group provides technology consulting and support for servers, workstations and applications to a variety of industries, including architects such as Libeskind, who designed the 1,776-foot-tall Freedom Tower planned for Ground Zero in Manhattan.  The company’s clients also include memorial designer Maya Lin, Triple 5 Soul and Vice Magazine.

Terms of the five-year lease are undisclosed, but the landlord had been asking $24 per square-foot.

The classic loft space, formerly an architectural office, boasts 13-foot ceilings, large windows with abundant natural lighting, an epoxy floor and private bathroom.

Neighbors include Tribeca Grand, Artspace Books, Sydney’s playground, Hands On Deck and Bread Tribeca.
