Stone and Sinder of Sinvin Realty Broker 12,000 s/f Lease Expansion

August 2, 2005

NEW YORK, NY 1100 Architect more than doubled the size of its office space by signing a new lease to move from 5,397 s/f to 12,000 s/f on the 10th floor of 475 10th Ave.

The space in 10th Ave, building, located between 36th and 37th Sts., is being subleased from Tiffany & Co.

Michelle Stone, managing director, and Bruce Sinder, president, of Sinvin Realty Corp. represented the company in transaction.

Greg Taubin, corporate managing director of Studley, represented Tiffany & Co.

Terms of the 10-year sublease are not being disclosed.

“1100 Architect urgently needed more space,” said Stone, “but after 10 years of working out of a stunning loft building with high ceilings and lots of natural light, the architects wouldn’t settle for just any building.”
Sinvin found a space at 475 Tenth Ave. in a 1913 loft building that features 14ft. ceilings, large industrial windows, and views of the city and Hudson River.

Other tenants already in the building include Ian Schrager Hotels, Donna Karan Home, and the architectural firms Richard Meier & Partner and Gwathmey, Seigel & Associates.
