Site for Counseling Expands

Firefighters and the families of victims will soon have a new, larger location for the FDNY’s Counseling Service Unit. Broker Michelle Stone of Sinvin Realty said the unit’s new 4,140-square-foot outpost at 594 Broadway will “help make people feel better. “It’s a very special space with lots of light, high ceilings and big rooms,” Stone said.  A small counseling center is currently located nearby a the firehouse at 251 Lafayette St. The expansion was funded though Project Liberty.
