Rappaport gets a pizza the action

Sinvin Real estate Steve Rappaport has just sold the lease for 145 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn Heights.

Currently a Sostaa pizza place, the property offers 1,100 s/f of ground floor space, a 1,000 s/f basement and a 300 s/f garden.There are nince years left on the lease and the rent is $6,500 month. The asking price was $245,000.

The lease was purchased by Luzzo’s group, which currently operate Luzzo’s on First Avenue and 12th Street, Ovest on 27 Street, and DaMikele at 275 Church Street.

“Luzzo’s will make this charming brick-walled space with a cute garden into a high-end Neapolitan restaurant featuring a wood fired pizza oven,ˮ said Rappaport.

Rappaport also just sold a 2,000 s/f retail condo at 176 Mulberry Street to Klosed Properties. Colleague Roxanne Betesh of Sinvin brought in the buyer.

“This space is new construction, smack in the middle of all the action in Little Italy,ˮ said Rappaport. “The buyer is seeking a food use to capitalize on the intense tourist traffic.ˮ
