Owles and Shannon of Sinvin Deal with Olive & Bette’s for 2,900 s/f

July 13, 2010

Olive & Bette’s, the diverse fashion company, has signed a 10-year, 2,900 s/f lease at 1249 Third Ave. This site at the corner of 72nd St. and Third Ave. will be its second Upper East Side location, bringing the total number of Manhattan stores to five.

Amira Yunis, executive vice president and principal of Newmark Knight Frank’s national retail group, who represented the landlord, 72nd Street Associates, LLC, said, “This is an excellent opportunity for Olive & Bette’s to capitalize on one of the busiest intersections on the Upper East Side. It was only available for a short time before they seized this great location.”

“After years of success on Madison Avenue and 81st Street, Olive & Bette’s is thrilled to lease such a prominent Third Avenue corner and to be well positioned to serve all of its Upper East Side customers,” said CHRISTOPHER OWLES, principal of Sinvin Realty, who represented the tenant along with director SARAH SHANNON.
