Sinvin Realty announced that the restaurateurs who were involved in such prestigious restaurants as 5 Ninth, Rhone, Le Zoo, Waterloo, and Pastis, have teamed up to create a new destination eatery in the West Village, called 10 DOWNING.10 DOWNING, consisting of restaurateurs Joel Michel, Vincent Seufert and Stephane Dorian, and investor Dan McClure, has signed a 15-year lease at 10 Downing Street, a.k.a. 263 Sixth Avenue, at the corner corner of Downing Street and Sixth Ave., with landlord Stonehenge Management, represented actively by Eric Roth. Sinvin Realty’s Christopher Owles, principal, and Kristin McCann, director, are the exclusive agents for the property and were the sole brokers in the transaction.The terms of the lease were not disclosed, but the landlord was asking $300,000 per annum for the space.The new restaurant will be built in the 2,700 s/f corner duplex space, formerly occupied by STA Travel, which consists of 1,650 s/f on the ground floor facing Sixth Avenue, and 1,050 s/f on the windowed lower level facing Downing Street.An additional 700 s/f in the basement will be used for storage.
