Celebrity Chef Watches Baby Food Company Grow

Sinvin Realty, LLC announced that eco-conscious, organic baby food company, Sprout Foods, Inc., headed by celebrity chef Tyler Florence, has signed a lease for its neighboring unit on the 7th floor at 520 West 27th Street in West Chelsea.

The deal doubles the firm’s space to 4,800 s/f for occupancy of the entire floor.

A regular on the Food Network and on Oprah, Sprout’s co-founder and executive chef, Tyler Florence, takes pride in developing the best ways to bring out food’s natural flavors, and uses only the freshest organic ingredients for the line of infant-to-toddler foods.

“With the growing demand for healthier and more environmentally-conscious products now, there is no question that Sprout will continue to succeed and expand,” said Betesh. “In today’s society, ‘going green’ is as good as gold.”
Unit 702 owner Five Points Partners, LLC asked $45 per square foot for the three-year lease, which includes a parking space and a private terrace.

Sprout’s original space, leased just last May, also has parking and a terrace; both 278 s/f terraces are South-facing.
All the units in the striking, 11-story commercial condo building, completed in 2008, feature bamboo floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and use of the 6,000 s/f outdoor deck on the fifth floor.
