Betesh of Sinvin Realty Negotiates 4,500 s/f Lease

The New York Wine Co. leased a little more than 4,500 s/f in Tribeca for retail and event space.The New York Wine Co.’s new home at 21 Warren St. is a multi-use building owned by a private investor, who was represented by Rob Frischman of JDF Realty for this transaction. Roxanne Betesh of Sinvin Realty represented the New York Wine Co.The New York Wine Co. offers cellar management services, a private kitchen with a personal chef, and a retail wine experience for this rehabilitating New York neighborhood.

Designed by Mateo Paiva and Lily Lim at studio a+1, the New York Wine Co.’s space has all office and display cases on moveable tracks to increase or decrease event space as needed, allowing the kitchen and tasting area to functionally accommodate groups of 4 to 75 people. The design was influenced by a partnership with Sub-Zero Wolf to integrate the tasting space with temperature-controlled wine cellar units. Located on three floors, the store will soon have a kitchen and additional event space on the second floor and nearly 1,500 s/f of temperature-controlled storage capabilities on the third floor.Its general managers, Derrick Mize and Robert Allen, opened the shop after working together at Italian Wine Merchants, known for one of its owners, celebrity chef Mario Batali.
